Introduction
I finally got around to getting a weight plate for my new rucker, so I thought now was a good time to lead my first ruck club. The weather forecast looked terrible leading into the workout, but for the most part it stayed dry the entire time. I had a backup stretch session planned for under the pavilion just in case we had lightning, but luckily I didn’t need it.

The Thang
We had about 45 minutes for the ruck, and my goal was 3 miles. We kept a pretty good pace, but had to do some ruffling to get back in time for Mary. We got back with about 4 minutes to spare.

Standing side-lifts with rucks (Love handles? – I can’t recall the name) IC x 10 both sides
Flutter kicks with rucks straight up in the air, IC x 10
