Introduction
Woke up around 0330 and shortly after looked at my phone to find that the Q (Corner Kick) had to pull to handle an emergency and the Site Q (Zimmer) was still feeling under the weather and wasn’t going to attend (he did drop off coffee). The show must go on so I grabbed the Q and Dauber grabbed the SQ. Let’s go!

Kept it simple and decided we would do a Pearls OnA A String (POAS)
Headed to the Pavilion and did a few
minutes of Alternating Step Ups, Irkins, and Air Squats. Proceeded to the Bus Stop area where we stopped and completed Merkinsand Mountain Climbers. Followed the path to the West side the fields and made a stop to work on the shoulders. We completed The Ike superset of Grady Corns, OH Claps, Seal Claps, and Moroccan Night Clubs. Departed hat location and went to the bottom of the little hill by the water tower. Had Men perform walking lunges up the hill. After all the Men were at the top we got into the Hit drill for a bit. Left that location and headed to the north side of the Ridge hill where we did Motivators from 6. As FIA was a the top of the hill had to pivot a bit so we relocated to the east side of the hill. Had PAX perform No Surrenders/Flying Squirrels (10 reps each) and then run to top of hill and back. Did one more set for 9 reps before it was time to head back to the flags. Wrapped up the session doing flutterkicks, gas pumpers, and leg raises
Circle of Trust
Dauber read announcements like the true leader he is. We took a knee and offered up thoughts and prayers. As this was a last minute Q I relied on a previous COT from earlier in the week. Didn’t recall any of the PAX that were in attendance had been to my Q earlier in the week at the DMZ (I was reminded later that Cutler was there and blamed my lack of memory on old age).
Change Your Auto Pilot
(excerpt from The Purpose Driven Life by Rick Warren)
To change your life. You must change the way you think. Behind everything you do is a thought. Every behavior is motivated by a belief and every action is prompted by an attitude. Be careful how you think because your life is shaped by your thoughts. Imagine riding in a speed boat on a lake with the auto pilot set to head east. Let’s say you want to reverse and head west. Two possible ways to change boat direction. One way is to grab steering wheel and physically force it in the opposite direction that the auto pilot is set to go. By sheer willpower you could overcome the autopilot but would feel constant resistance. Your arms would tire to stress, you’d let go of the steering wheel and the boat would instantly head back east the way it was internally programmed. This is what happens to you when you try to change your life with will power. You say I’ll force myself to eat less, to exercise more, to quit being disorganized and late. Yes willpower can produce short term change. But it also creates constant and internal stress because you haven’t dealt with the root cause. The change doesn’t feel natural so eventually you give up, you go off your diet, and you quit exercising. You quickly revert to your old patterns.
There’s a better and easier way. Change….your auto pilot. Change the way you think. Change always starts first in your mind, the way you think. The way you think determines the way you feel. The way you feel influences the way you act. Change Your Auto Pilot! Change Your Mind! Aye!

Glad to hear Corner Kick’s situation seems to have resolved itself and that Zimmer is feeling a bit better. Truly appreciate Zimmer going above and beyond to drop off coffee despite being under the weather. Super excited to see a few new faces (Overtime/Hydrant) and chat a bit after the workout. Get on the Q sheet Derailed (I’ll CoQ with ya if you need me.) Thanks for the water Cutler
