Introduction

My week started with a beautiful Sunrise Ceremony at the Forgotten Warrior Memorial in Channahon,  IL during the final phase of GTE30. Wednesday night, I had the honor to welcome home my pops from his Honor Flight to Washington DC. It was a very emotional and joyous evening seeing 110 veterans arrive home and treated with a celebration and open arms by hundreds of civilians, something they missed out on 50 years ago when they returned home from the Vietnam War. The soldiers back then were given orders to wear civilian clothes and blend in with the regular civilians on commercial flights so they wouldn’t get spit on and yelled at. I felt compelled to Q up a beatdown honoring these soldiers. I was quite surprised there was only one HC. I’ll definitely be repeating this one in the future to get more exposure to more PAX

Da Grizz has been a challenge to get numbers at the workouts. My goal was to bring a special Honor Q to the AO along with a special guest in order to attract more PAX interest. YHC failed. What I’ve learned in life is not to give up. This region has a challenge with this AO. We’ll fail forward and figure this out and become better and stronger together. If you read this, let’s go deep into our extended friend, co-worker, social media acquaintance list and reach out to sad clowns in the proximity of this AO. We did it with Three Rivers, we’ll do it with Da Grizz
