Commitment – noun
com·mit·ment
: the attitude of someone who works very hard to do or support something
Coming out to the Gloom is not easy. Each PAX here made a commitment to themselves and to their brother beside them to be here.
I didn’t write the following, but wanted to share:
When it comes to a commitment, it will often call you to a greater sense of purpose while demanding that you remain determined to follow through on your decision and your commitment all the way to the end. We will often be judged by the quality and consistency in which we make and keep our commitments.
A few steps to consider when we want to make a difference and are choosing to be invested so our commitment is something that moves us from being ourselves:
- Prioritize: Commitment takes time and effort. If we don’t prioritize these two things, we will always struggle to keep meaningful commitments.
- Be Proactive: Commitment isn’t a passive process. We need to be proactive in our commitments. This means giving more effort than what is expected.
- Right Attitude: So much about how we approach life has to do with the attitude we hold. The more positive an attitude we take the more energy and enthusiasm we give.
