Circle of Trust
My parting message was the fact that every Sunday, prior to the Bears game, no matter how bad I/we had to suffer from the prior weeks’ worth of disappointment, I/we still find a Heightened level of Excitement for that ball to be kicked off. For OUR team take the field!
Very similar to the excitement that’s felt early in the morning, knowing that I have another opportunity to arrive ITG, knuckle up with my brothers next to me and do some hard shit with the group of men that I have become so fond of.
The message was to encourage and remind us all to live with excitement and enthusiasm the best we can in the encounters we have in our lives. Inspire those we are with and pick up others when it’s needed.
Naked Man Moleskin
Last week of RDG24. It’s been a long, hard five weeks, but very little value comes from easy, so we do it!
Each night, we plan the next day. Each morning, we rise early and hustle to the AO where suddenly we’re needed… It’s not always the place we’d choose to go, rather the place we’ve decided to go, and the decision is at times a selfless one. Why would we/I do that? Easy. The team needs me to. My RDG team needs me.
This year for me, brought on a higher level of demand, commitment and at times stress. Responsibility to Team Dasher has become the priority and living up to that has not always easy. RDG23… Man, the things I took for granted! Being asked to lead a team this year has been humbling. Enthusiasm helps get you started. Said so well by my homie Trifecta, it’s the Discipline that helps you finish.
I’m blessed to be a part of F3P. Extremely blessed. Each day ITG, I recognize and acknowledge it. Today, at DMZ, I was able to share this verbally, with all my brothers. The opportunity is thoroughly rewarding to me, and if I expressed it properly, it would also have been to the MEN that surround me. It’s rewarding because it’s focused heart and focused mind. Every COT in F3P is special to every man ITG willing to lend an ear!
My Brothers, I will SYITG.
