The Thang

Thang 1 – Tabata 35 sec exercise/12 sec rest

3 rounds overhead press, 3 rounds squat w alt. hip swings, 3 rounds overhead press, 3 rounds squats with hip abduction

Thang 2 – Subtract 2

22 chest press and 22 curls then side shuffle 50 feet then flip so different lead leg and another side shuffle 50 ft then lunge walk 30 feet then run back up the middle aisle past the cars.  Subtract 2 from each so 20 and 20 and side shuffle and lunge and run then 18 and 18 ….

Thang 3 – Pavilion

12 bent over rows and 12 dips then run down around the middle entrance drive island and back and repeat

Talked about my experience volunteering as coach on the course for Team in Training at the Chicago Marathon.IT reminded me to be patient in all areas of my life.  I was getting down last week about how slow my fitness business is growing but then used the analogy of the running of a marathon to put it in persepctive of having patience and keep running and even if it seems slow .  It is still progress towards the goal.  I challenged the pax to think about an area of their lives that might seem not great right now.  Have patience and just stay the course.  You will get through
