Introduction

Cold but comfortable morning this morning.  I showed up about 10 minutes early to find Blue Gill making laps in the parking lot.  That man just never stops…  With this being the first week after finishing up Reindeer Games, low numbers were expected and as of last night we only had 6 HC’s.  If this holds we will have the perfect sized crew for what I have planned.

Warm-O-Rama

No surprises here – Standard issue Jellystone WoR

Tappy Taps – Slow x10 IC (Note I forgot the mission, but no one else noticed)

Michael Phelps x15 IC

Goofballs x15 IC

Hairy Rockettes x15 IC

The Thang

Thang 1 – THREE Corners

Course was the standard parking lot where the four outer most islands marked the corners of our path.

At Corner with Flag

15 Blockee’ss OYO

15 Thrusters OYO

Run 3-Corners of route.  At 3rd corner do 15 Merkins and 15 Big Boys

Run 3 more corners, Stop and do 15 Merkins and 15 Big Boys.  Rise and Repeat until three corners land you back at corner with Flag.  At this corner, you guessed it, PAX were directed to do 15 Blockee’s and 15 Thrusters, then to continue their 3-Corner routine

Since Thang had ab work built in, YHC continued beatdown until 6am

Circle of Trust

Today marked the 15th year that I have been a father.  This for me, like many others, was a huge milestone and transition for me.  I now had a little person to take care of, teach, guide, and lead through life, and at the time I wasn’t sure how to navigate life myself.  Becoming a father positively impacted the way I chose to look at myself and life around me, and in many instances gave me pause to consider making different choices than what I most certainly would have made if I was not.  I am truly grateful for this blessing.

Naked Man Moleskin

As you have discovered, this beatdown was to celebrate my daughters 15th birthday.  However, I went into full autopilot during my first WoR exercise and stopped the count at 10.  O’well…  When in charge, take charge.  No one was the wiser.  This morning we have 0 Fartsacks and 1 Pulled HC.  The Pulled HC was from a pax who knew the beatdown, so the jury is out as to whether or not his family was truly sick, or if he just didn’t want to do blockee’s and thrusters.  Guess we will never know…

All joking aside, we hope the family has a quick recover Bunker!
