Introduction

I woke up at 4:15 to a plow truck going down my street. I got up and thought I would have to change the layout for the BC because of this. Turns out, all that happened was everyone got a little wet. Had a brief panic over nothing! We had 6 PAX including myself that came in and put in the work on a chilly day and dealt with the elements in the parking lot. It was an excellent display of mental toughness!

Warm-O-Rama

Warm-O-Rama included Motivators, Willie Mays Hayes, Imperial Walkers, Tie Fighters, and a lap down and back in the parking lot to get a feel for the workout area after the light snow was melted.

The Thang

The workout included Merkins, Curls, Air Squats, Thrusters, Big Boys, and American Hammers.

We ran down the parking lot and stopped at each light post. We would do 5 of whatever exercise we were on at the 1st light. Then we would go to the next one and do 10. Then 15, and 20 at the final one. Once done, we picked up the 6 by finishing the set of 20 with them or running back with them. Then we would move onto the next exercise.

We completed all 6 exercises and had time left so we repeated the process with 3 exercises at a time for 5-10-15-20. The 3 exercises were Merkins, Air Squats, and BB or AH (Dealer’s Choice).

Brief 1 minute Mary in which we held plank until 6:00

Circle of Trust

My CoT mentioned trying not to let the small things get to you. Trying to overcome little problems. I mentioned that sometimes the little things happen so frequently it’s hard to really not let them get to you when the seemingly have no end. I said to try your best to reflect on what you can change and work on it, or if you can’t change it try your best not to worry about it. Anytime we give problems that we can not fix anxiety it can quickly become overbearing.

On the flip side, I tried to relay the importance of appreciating the little things. We often take them for granted way too frequently. I know I do. I do believe if you find ways to appreciate the little things it will simply help your mindset and it can put you in a better place.

Naked Man Moleskin

Everything went smooth. I was happy to be part of a group where 6 men came out and pushed themselves in a parking lot that was wet. We got better as a group and I’m grateful I was a part of it.
