Needless to say the last 6 weeks have been my biggest challenge in my fitness journey in a long time. Tearing my calf & not being able to post in the gloom as much reminds me of appreciation but it also lead me back to maybe my favorite bible verse: Romans 5:3-4 “Also, glory in your sufferings, b/c we know that suffering produces perseverance, perseverance character, & character hope”
In times of hardship many people want to focus on the negative & questioning vs. focusing on the opportunity from the suffering. To persevere through the hardship to acquire knowledge & enlightenment. It is in that embracing coming out the other side better that gives us hope that we can survive all situations despite the suffering.
My call to action is what do you do in times of adversity & suffering in your life? I urge you to think about that the next time you are in an adverse situation. Take a step back & search for how you approach it & what can you learn from it to ultimately produce that everlasting hope.
