I wanted to discuss the importance of being the 6.

Being completely transparent my first 2 months of being the six sucked and I did not want to do it after a few bad experiences.  There were PAX that would not modify, or Q’s that wouldn’t take my advice/recommendations then me having to take the blame for the outcome because I was the Site Q.  And I’ll be completely honest there were times where it was frustrating getting up so early to workout and not being able to push myself because I had to stay behind with the last man.  Because as we say, we don’t wake up for easy.

My outlook slightly changed when the Q actually took my advice and made huge improvements on his following Q’s.  But my stance really turned around when we got together one evening for fellowship when a PAX who struggles with his fitness broke down and praised the 6.  Listening to this PAX describe what he has to go through physically every time he posts was heartbreaking.  How he really appreciated the 6 being there with him and pushing him and motivating him to move forward.  He said that he felt bad because he was always holding the 6 back and how he would always apologize to the 6, and even with all of his physical limitations and struggles he would never quit because he knew the 6 would be there with him.

Listening to him was an awaking and I realized I needed stop being so selfish, it reminded me about my first month of joining F3.  I was in the same place, always apologizing to the 6 for holding them back and still to this day have physical limitations because of my knees.

If you are struggling with the responsibility of being a Site Q just remember where you were physically and mentally when you started F3.

LEAVE NO MAN BEHIND!

Naked Man Moleskin

2nd go around with tabata, I got the timing down perfectly but I feel that I could have done better with pushing the MEN to either do more reps by calling out cadence or counts.  And/or I could have used the coupon a little more.

Did you all know that my Bestie was a breakdancer??
