Introduction

Yes, there actually is such a thing as a Beer Mile World Classic.  Last year it was held in Belgium, and this year it is being held in Chicago on July 1st.  You run one-mile, stopping every quarter mile to drink a 12 oz (min. 5% ABV) beer.  To break the world record, you just need to beat 4 minutes and 28 seconds!

Warm-O-Rama

Jog in place while I went over the introduction and disclaimer.

SSH OYO while I went over the F3 mission, core principles, and credo.

Mosey the quarter-mile loop for the beer mile.

Warm-up stretches: Knee pull with ankle rotations, Abe Vigodas, Calf stretch to World’s Greatest.

The Thang

Thang 1: Tabata (1 minute of work with 17 seconds of rest) with a stretch move, and bodyweight exercise, and then core work, on repeat until 7am.

Thang 2: One-mile warm-up run as a group.

Thang 3: Beer-mile.  If you finish before 7:30am, run around and pick up garbage.

Circle of Trust

I was four beers in at this point, so I got a little mushy.  I told everyone that, while they might not realize it, they have a big IMPACT on me and on others.  Continue to be HIMs!

Naked Man Moleskin

Thanks 5-putt for being an awesome site-Q.  This was sort of a silly workout.

Thanks to Vern for helping plan this workout and being very encouraging.

Thanks Broomstick for help with the music, tabata timer, and coffee.

Congrats Juanita on getting the acceleration flag…very well deserved!
