Soaking up the spirit of the Reindeer Games ECs

Introduction

All during the Reindeer Games, many PAX completed the 3 mile EC at the Colosseum; to the light pole and back.  The intention of today’s run is to honor all that heart, to soak up the spirit they left behind on this route, and to leave some of our spirit along the way.

Warm-O-Rama

A light jog around the lot to warm up.

And some high knees, butt kicks, skips, and grapevine left and right.

The Thang

Run the 3 mile EC.

Get back to the lot.  Run for 60 breaths and then walk (fast) for 10-15 breaths.

Finish the last 4 mins with some stretching.

Us old guys dont balance well for the stretching, especially after a run.  We should work on our balance.

Circle of Trust

Sometimes it’s ok to walk.  Sometimes it’s ok to ride an electric bike.  “Growing in self awareness is the best gift you can give to those around you.” -TruGreen

Be self aware.  Know what you need.  And walk/rest if that is required.  But set a limit for that rest and get back to it when it is time to get back to it.  Dont coast to a stop.

Naked Man Moleskin

It was good running with Cochran today.  We’ve been friends for 25 years, it’s always good to run with old friends.
