Introduction

No one picked up this Q, so I grabbed it the day before.  I wasn’t sure what to do, but with the snowy/windy conditions, I decided I wanted to do something slow so we wouldn’t be falling all over the place.  Figured we could add some weight to our running, and then split it up a bit with some PT at the pavilion.

Warm-O-Rama

Jog in place while I went over the introduction, disclaimer, mission statement, core principles, and credo.

Mosey around the parking lot to try to find a good run route.  Quatro suggested just staying on the path, which was a much better idea.

The Thang

Workout done with weighted vests.

  • Run along path from pavilion to the north to the house with the spruce tree with lights on it, and then back to the pavilion (about 1/4 mile).
  • 30 squats / 20 step ups / 10 irkins
  • Rinse and repeat until Mary.  Got over 3 miles in.

Mary

  • High plank hold with weighted vest.  Then take off weight.
  • Pilates circuit (all IC x 10): Leg pull, knee pull, pigeon pull.
  • Squatros

Circle of Trust

I felt a little disjointed this morning, and I feel like I didn’t prepare very well for this Q.  I’m glad we had an excellent site Q there today.  Quatro helped me come up with a much better (and safer) path to use for the run route.  I also talked about goals again and that I’ve enjoyed hearing from other guys on what they are looking forward in accomplishing this year.  Don’t sit back on your previous accomplishments…keep pushing!

Naked Man Moleskin

Quatro came in hot during the warmup…told us he had an important pre-workout task he had to take care of.  I’m glad he was there today though, he helped this workout go smoothly.
