The Thang
Thang 1: Partner farmer carries
1st PAX carried both coupons along the trail while 2nd PAX knocked out 10 merkins. Once 2nd PAX completed the merkins, he ran to relieve 1st PAX. Switched up roles and repeat, except the second exercise was Big Boys. Continued to alternate between the two exercises and made it around the trail, between the softball fields, then back to the starting location. Knocked out 10 burpees as a group once we circled back up.
Thang 2: Indian run around entire AO trail
As PAX made their way to the front of the formation, had them share with the group something they were looking to gain fitness-wise from F3. After PAX had multiple iterations of that, had them switch up to share what/how they wish to impact fellow F3 brothers in the coming year. Stopped the group mid-way through to knock out 10 Manmaker’s and 10 LBCs, then continued the run until returning to the start.
Circle of Trust
Since we had a young Marine who was at his second post with us, I asked him to share his military experience with us and we got a chance to ask him questions about his journey thus far and plans for the future.
Naked Man Moleskin
I love hearing goodwill intentions from men who don’t often share their feelings. I know that every man who commits to F3 will eventually learn that being vulnerable opens up doors that would have otherwise remained closed. By allowing others to hear your perspective, and vice versa, you gain comfort and confidence in accelerating and conquering toward those fears.
