Introduction

I wanted to do an out and back to the school with some incremental sprinting.

The Thang

Run from parking lot around the park and to the bridge.  Sprint over the bridge and towards the school.  Front of school, we’ll be using the race track.  As you approach, sprint the straightaway and then idle down to loop around again.  We did several runs through this and then followed a full lap around the school and back to the Bridge where we sprinted across again and we did a lap or two around the parking lot to finish our goals.  We ended with 10 count calf stretches, 10 count quad stretches, 50 Big Boys, 30 Pickle Pushers and then Leg Lifts until 6am.

Circle of Trust

We have special TAPS to those that are coming back from injuries in the hopes that they’re progress does not get derailed.  I also shared how my thoughts have moved from wishing I would communicate with some of the people in my life that I’ve lost contact with due to some type of issue that arose.  I’m committed to reaching out to one of those couples within the next week to see if they are open to a discussion and hopefully reigniting our friendship.

Naked Man Moleskin

I pushed today to get 4 miles in during a normal run club.  This was the first time I’ve ever completed that.  I hope it encourages others to continue to push.
