Introduction
1st Plainfield F3 family workout. Targeting to do these once a month on the second Saturday.

The Thang
Thang 1 – 4 stations in west parking lot
Three exercises written down at each station spaced along the outside of the west parking lot. Did 25 reps each of one of the exercises and could share reps among the family.
Station 1 – Squats, Smurf jacks, Bonnie Blairs
Station 2 – Merkins, Carolina Dry Docks, Overhead claps
Station 3 -Big boys, Flutter kicks, Scissor kicks
Station 4 -Shoulder taps, Plank jacks, Mountain Climbers
Thang 2 – Infection Tag
We played a round of regular infection tag and a round of crab/bear infection tag. The person infected does bear crawl and those not infected crab walk to “run” away. Once a crab is infected they become a bear and go after the remaining crabs.
Thang 3 – Dora
200 reps split among families of the following exercises: Curls and Overhead press, other partners run half the parking lot and back.

Read this quote by Vince Lombardi – “Leaders aren’t born they are made. And they are made just like anything else, through hard work. And that’s the price we’ll have to pay to achieve that goal or any goal.”
I think this quote embodies F3 and what we are trying to accomplish. Yes we want to get a good workout and enjoy fellowship, but we are really trying to build male community leaders. There are people that are more predisposed to leadership but we continue to see men come out and through hard work and perseverance are able to develop and expand their leadership abilities.

Naked Man Moleskin
Overall very good experience. We will need to continue to experiment with time and location for the family workouts. The cold weather coming up will also be a barrier. I think for those that attended they enjoyed it. I just wish I could have won 1 race against Unicorn!
