-4 degrees with a wind chill feel of -26
My plan was to keep the men moving at all times to keep them warm if not, I volunteered The Worm to snuggle with the PAX for body heat.

The Thang
Started off with a slingshot walk with the last man doing 2 burpees before running to the front of the line. Walked the perimeter of both the big parking lot once and the front parking lot twice, came to a stop at the front of the parking let where there was no ice.
Set up 5 cones approx. 15 meters apart with a total of 75 meters total distance for suicide runs. Ran up the ladder, and performed 10 reps of PT at home base after each run to each of the cones.

I wanted to tell the newer PAX my CoT from last winter and informed them that when I started F3 I was all in, drank the F3 Kool-aid. Within a month I had ordered my F3 welcome pack that had the F3 shirt, the Freed to Lead book, some koozies and the F3 stickers. I was excited about putting the F3 sticker on my truck but then had second thoughts. I thought, am I really a good representative of F3? Have a participated in all 3 F’s? I mean sure, I was posting a lot but was I leading any Q’s? At the time I believe I had only done my VQ. The 2nd F events?? I think I had attended one or two lunches and don’t even ask me what the 3rd F was because at that time I hadn’t gone to Q source and didn’t even know where the Food Pantry was located. Was I going to make it through the winter???? Honestly I did not think I was going to come out in subzero temperatures. So with all of this, I decided not to put the sticker on my truck. I said to myself, if I make it through the winter, if I Q more and participate in all 3 F’s, then and only then will I put the sticker on my truck. Well, I finally put my sticker on my truck that following Spring.
So I ask you MEN, have you participated in all 3 F’s, have you earned your sticker? If not, set 1 or 2 goals, think about what you can do to give back to F3 and to the community.

Thanked Jellystone for the recon he did at TC, while I did come out the day before to ensure that the front parking lot was still clear, it was his recon and suggestion that prompted me to move the BC to the front. Also recommendations to Site Q’s to keep pictures and announcements to a minimum, maybe just have the PAX go to the info only channel themselves. Taking the gloves off in these temperatures is dangerous, don’t need to lose any fingers.
