Circle of Trust

Earlier this year I spoke at one of my CoT’s about EH’ing my child hood friend for the last two years as soon as I joined F3.  He recently moved to Texas and over the last 5 years he had been trying to convince me to move Texas, I realized that it was not because Texas was so great, but more that he was missing his friends and family.  Earlier this year I spoke to him and I could tell he was a bit depressed, I urged him one more time to join F3 and like many, he loved it and has been constantly going.

Fast forward to last week.  He called me and had his wife and sons on speaker.  He went on to joke and said, Jorge, why hadn’t you told me about F3 sooner!?  We all kind of chuckled cause we all knew I had been EH’ing him for the last 2 years.  He then says, we wanted to thank you for introducing us to F3, I don’t know if I told you but we have a friend that has been in bad health, one of the issues being the need for a new liver.  Well, Yessenia(his wife) was a match and decided to donate part of her liver, the surgery happened 2 weeks ago and it went well.  Leading up to the surgery during each CoT he had asked for prayers for his wife and their friend.  Once she had surgery he stopped posting so that he could stay home to care for her and help out the other family as well.  Well our F3 brothers in Austin immediately noticed his abscense and reached out to see if everything was okay, he explained his situation and just asked for prayers for a speedy recovery.  Well F3 doesn’t settle on just prayers, they wanted to help more, so they asked what else could be done for both of the families.  My friend, F3 name “Fixture”, said that their church was doing a meal train and if they wanted to participate it would be welcomed but truley all they needed were prayers.

Well, in comparison to donations given, F3 blew the church out of the water was his explanation.  He says, Jorge, some of these guys that donated, I knew by name but there were men that I had never met, there were even donations coming in from other regions!  I was left speechless, I have no words to explain what is happening.  My sons and wife wanted to thank you again for introducing us F3, this organization is a blessing and has been life changing.  My response was, this is what WE do!

He then took me off speaker, I heard him pick up the phone and walk to the other room and goes on to tell me, Jorge, I know that you and I are the kind of men that would take our shirt off to help another person, but to be part of an organization of men that has the same morals and values as us gives me hope for humanity.  Thank you for not giving up on me and continuing to EH me over the last 2 years regardless of how often I told you NO.  I love you brother.

We always talk about how F3 is a gift and we always talk about giving this gift away.  So I urge you, if there’s someone that you’ve been trying to EH, that you know needs this, don’t give up on them.  Continue to try to get them out, you can even use my method.  Come out just once, if you don’t like it, you can tell me to fuck off and I will never mention it again : )
