Introduction
Well woke up this morning to pounding rain on the roof 2 slack messages of cancelling on EC run & a message from Soft Hands who had to bail on his Q. Could have made the decision to fartsack but like the lizard I got my Sad Clown a$$ up told Soft Hands I would take his Q & headed out the door for EC. It was a brutal cold run with Mr. Belding & Flo but we made it through despite the rain pounding us in the face. Then the PAX showed up for a little fun run in the rain!!!

The Thang
We headed out to Woody’s neighborhood 1 mile loop. Each PAX goal was 3 loops with loop 1 at 70% of 5K pace, 2nd loop at 90%, & 3rd loop at 110%.
Each PAX was able to complete the 3 loops with the hard chargers looping backwards to pick up the six after they finished their 3rd lap.
We finished with some daisy pickers to stretch out

- A Lizard organization is one that is fast, quick, nimble, highly adaptable, & ability to change vs. a bullfrog who is fat, stagnant, & has no purpose except to occupy space. F3 is very lizard like. We have no rules, a flat orgz. Structure, & we are moving fast always looking 43 feet ahead with our purpose/mission in mind. I urge you to lead like this not only in your jobs but your families as well. Some of you may be aware that I have twin boys & they could not be more opposite in terms of personalities. My one son is basically my mini-me. His mind is OCD/organized like me & he loves sports. My other son is the complete opposite. He beats to his own drummer, no structure, loves the arts like dance/music/acting. It is easy for me to do things with my one son but I am not great with the other son b/c it is out of my comfort zone. Like the lizard though I have to be adaptable & flexible to ensure I am intentional about spending time with him. Recently he has been preparing for a play, Rudolph, so I found myself practicing lines with him & encouraging him. I could not have been more proud this past Monday when he crushed his performance. I was so proud, the Dad jumping up to cheer. I urge you to be adaptable to your family situation. Invest yourself in everyone you have the opportunity to engage with. Be like the lizard adapting to things that might be out of your comfort zone. Aye!
