Introduction
Today is my 19-year wedding anniversary, and one of my M’s favorite sports to play is tennis, so my plan involves incorporating tennis into a run club somehow. I met up with Pull-up and Toby at 4:50 for an EC run to McD.
Warm-O-Rama
Jog in place while I went over the introduction and disclaimer.
Trunk twists OYO while I went over the F3 mission, core principles, and credo.
Warm-up stretches: Hamstring scoops, side lunges with back stretch, knee pulls with ankle rotations, calve stretch to world’s greatest stretch.
The Thang
Thang 1: Run as a group 1.75-miles to PCHS tennis courts (Renwick to 59 to Fort Beggs).
Thang 2: Step-ups at benches while I explained that we were going to play a quick game of speed tennis. No points. Just try to volley back-and-forth and keep moving. Toby and Bunny Hill played on one court and me and Pull-up played on the next court. Played for about 10 minutes.
Thang 3: Indian run back to flags (about 0.75-mile) and then do a cool-down lap in the parking lot.
Mary: Crunch circuit (10 exercises, 19 count each, no recovery between). Still had a couple minutes left, so we did Freddy Mercuries and heel taps ICx19.
