Introduction

It was clear from the get go that this was going to be a big BC.  Grove is a unique AO that I frequent but that would suddenly see it’s attendance grow for RDG.  I had planned a 5 station, 4 group pearls on a string style beatdown.  The original plan called for the stations to be more spread out and for each group to visit them once.  Unfortunately,  rain forced me to make some changes to make the stations a bit closer together.  most groups got through twice.

To control flow and to add a small surprise,  teams rolled dice and retained the number for latter.

Warm-O-Rama

I have to be honest,  I rarely plan this out fully but this one went to plan.  I usually do reps to about 8-10.

Side straddle hops

Abe vegodas

Tie fighters

Michael Phelps

Daisy pickers

We then mosey’d shortly down the street to showeveryone where the stations are.

The Thang

Here was the original plan:

Station 1: the lot

20 skull crushers – on the down

10 WW3- on the up

Run across and up the mountain

Station 2: the mountain

20 LBC in cadence

10 big boys adds cadence

Run the sidewalk to the start of the path

Station 3: the side walk

20 monkey Humpers

10 Air squats

To pavilion

Station 4: the pavilion

Step ups – 20 on the up

Dips- 10 on the down

Run to bridge

Station 5: the bridge

20 wall sit Grady corns in cadence

10 hand release merkins on the down

Run to flags roll dice and make note of number.

At Mary,  we added the numbers together and got 36.

We did 36 each of X’s and O’s, Pickle Pushers, Jane Fondas.

Circle of Trust

In every performance,  game,  workout, event…there is often a moment,  something that gets you hooked and gets you to come back.  During each workout,  event, or whatever; look for that moment.  Embrace and remember it.

Naked Man Moleskin

I’ll be honest,  the idea of doing the COT for 30 men was a bit intimidating.  One of the reasons I Q is the COT but I am also very self conscious about not wanting to be a braggart,  sound cheesy or preachy.  I want it to be meaningful because I see the opportunity the COT provides
