My M forwarded me a burnout management/training of which she has me using some of the techniques to help me prevent burnout that I would like to share with you all today.
Stress can lead to burnout.
Burnout is a challenging or painful response to chronic stress which can lead to anxiety, mood disorders, depression and debilitating fatigue.
Signs of burnout can be feeling unproductive everyday, constant fatigue, significant negative disposition, impaired cognitive function, dependence on external substances and work feeling as a constant negative force.
Major causes can stem from too hours worked, amount of responsibility and your managers management style.
Tips for prevention:
Diet, exercise & sleep.
Eat fresh unprocessed foods, fiber, water.
A minimum 2-3 hours moderate activity/week.
Eliminate or limit time with non supportive colleagues or people.
Take vacations and completely disconnect.
Meditate/quieting your mind for 10-15 minutes per day.
Journaling/reflection and writing about your thoughts and feelings.
Start with one tactic and build upon it to help prevent burnout.

Naked Man Moleskin

JD & Sparkler were flying in their last 1+ mile.  They were so fast around the track that two lady’s walking on it didn’t realize that me and Bob V were different people.
