Introduction
Week 2 of Reindeer games started with some chilly temps. The idea behind this workout was to keep the PAX moving to stay warm

The Thang
This is one of my favorite conditioning drills from my days as a soccer coach. Basically you set up 6 cones 50 yards apart around a soccer field. You start at midfield and progress through the following rotations.
Jog to the first cone, sprint to the next cone.
Jog to the next cone, sprint 2 sections(2 cones)
Jog to the next cone, sprint 3 sections(3 cones)
Jog to the next cone, sprint 4 sections(4 cones)
Jog to the next cone, sprint 5 sections(5 cones)
Jog to the next cone, sprint the whole perimeter of the field(6 cones)
Upon finishing one entire 6 section you recovered across the field and did 20 big boys, 20 merkins and then started the 6 section all over again.
Circle of Trust
Read a few tweets from David Goggins to help get our mind right as the cold rolls in and the second week of Reindeer games get tougher.
“It is important to fight the urge to take the easier route. While the easier route might still ultimately get you there, what it doesn’t do is train you for the times where the hard route is the only route.”
“Success eludes those who believe it is a straight line to get there.”
Naked Man Moleskin
Kuddos to all the PAX that killed it this morning. It was great to see Bunny Hill back at one of my run clubs, along with the Worm, Suspenders, Go Fish, and Gisele getting after it this morning.
As always John Denver was on fire and paced the group with his super speed. Glad to see him back in the gloom.
