The Thang
Thang 1: I love Burpees
- Head to the football field & complete the following routine:
- Run to the 5 yard line, 1 burpee, run back to goal line
- Run to 10 yard line, 2 burpees, run back to goal line
- All the way to the opposite goal line which would be 20 burpees
- All in total if you finish 210

- 60 seconds to complete 1 gasser (hash back, other hash back, sideline back); if you don’t make it you are out on sideline rotating doing 15 LBC’s & 15 American Hammers until 6; 20 second rest; rinse & repeat

This week kicks of a 6 week crash course of the “Q-Source”, a book written by leaders for leaders. This week it kicks off with a discussion on why it exists & what it actually is. I think for why it exists I will use this quote, “In your darkest hour, when the demons come, call on me brother, & we will fight them together”. The Q-Source exists b/c we have become men that are isolated & believe they need to solve everything on their own but that is not actually possible. You need men around you to help sharpen your blade, carry your burdens, & you do the same for them.
Enter a book & a study that brings men together to discuss leadership. Principles that don’t just teach you to lead other people but at the core how you have to “Get Yourself Right” before you can actually help/lead anyone else. So I hope you will take the time over the next 6 weeks to not just show up at a Q-Source so you can get some fake points but take the time to study & understand the material as well as engage by listening & sharing your experiences. AYE!
