Introduction

It was a cool morning with wind chill temps in the 20 but 11 brave men toughed it out.  Foreclosure & Sparkler came moseying in from their EC run while the other PAX watched in the distance to see if Headband would come moseying in from his house with a coupon in tow, but no luck.  So the men quickly got to work!

Warm-O-Rama

WARM UP

  • Jog in place while go through: disclaimer, mission, principles, & credo
  • SSH – 20 (IC)
  • Willie Mays Hays – 10 IC
  • Daisy Pickers – 20 SEC
  • Michael Phelps – 10 IC
  • Static stretching with 2 rounds of all the following moving 4 parking spaces out
    • High Knees, Butt Kickers, Shuffle, Karoke, 50% jog

 

The Thang

THANG 1 – Interval Time

  • Pair up with a partner & complete the following rotation 8 times.
  • Partner 1 will complete a 400-meter sprint.
  • Partner 2 will complete the following rotation of exercises until partner 1 returns to switch after their 400.
    • 20 Overhead Press
    • 20 Bicep Curls
    • 20 Bent Over Rows
    • 20 Chest Press
    • 20 LBCs

  • Recently did some training with my company & it was one of the more relevant trainings I have done in recent time so I thought I would share. Have any of you gone through the “5 Choices to Extraordinary Productivity”.
    • Act on the Important – don’t react to the urgent
      • Introduce the 4 box to identify where tasks fall on the important & urgent scale focused on Q2
    • Go for Extraordinary – don’t settle for ordinary
      • Identify relationships/responsibilities paired with deepest values & highest aspirations (D2X)
    • Schedule the Big Rocks – don’t sort gravel
      • Plan the big things first & organize the rest around those
    • Rule Your Technology – don’t let it rule you
      • Paper – everything in one place
      • Digital – everything in every place (Skylight calendar)
    • Fuel your Fire – don’t burn out
      • Create consistent patterns through energy drivers
        • Move, Eat, Sleep, Relax, Connect
      • Similar principles we do in F3 but from a bit of business environment. My challenge to you men is to think about these 5 & pick 1 that you might think about putting a plan around so you are working 43 feet out ahead.  Aye!
