Introduction

After Mr. Belding had to drop the Q due to a SLT meeting, there was a battle between Gisele and YHC on who was going to take the Q.  In the end, we worked together to come up with a way in which both of us could contribute to the beatdown.  The tease for the PAX was the promise of a surprise (happy) ending for those that attended 🤪

After about 15 mins we transitioned to

THANG2

  • Holding high plank.  Q calls out the exercise, the reps and which cone to run to (1st, 2nd, 3rd or no cone).  On the command Move the PAX go to the called out location and perform the movement and reps (. Note all reps count.  So 1 is 1).
  • Upon completing PAX return to start and resume high plank or other position called out by Q

Some movements performed in THANG 2 included:

Grady Corns, Hand Release Merkins, Gas Pumpers, Squats , Bobby Hurleys, SSH, Burpees, Runs, etc

With about 10 minutes left the PAX circled up to receive their well earned “Happy Ending”.

Gisele wrapped up the session by leading the PAX through some well deserved Broga

Circle of Trust

Pee Wee Herman read the announcements and then we had the opportunity to get to know our FNG (T) who was brought out by Great Clips.  You’ll get to know a little bit more about him when he’s formally introduced.  For now just know he’s not a Kansas City Chiefs fan, but rather a Patrick Mahomes fan.  He’s also not a Taylor Swift fan.

My message to the Men….

Miracles

In biblical times (New Testament) after the death and resurrection of Jesus.  Disciples (Peter/John) came across a crippled man and performed a miracle and the man was able to walk.  It quickly became the talk of the town and since the people knew this man had been crippled for 40 years and now could walk it was a miracle and changed many peoples perspective.

Work, school, lessons, and other activities keep us busy from dawn to dusk. We get so busy running from one scheduled activity to another that we hardly notice the people we pass.  Could we be missing opportunities to perform a miracle?

Now we may not be making blind men see or crippled men walk but what if something as simple as saying thank you, holding a door open, being there to listen, buying a homeless person a meal, there’s no shortage of things we could do to help someone out.

Who’s to say a simple act of kindness couldn’t be a miracle to someone else.  Maybe it’s a miracle for the person directly involved, or the gesture turns into a miracle for another person that heard about what you did  or maybe it turns into a miracle to the person that witnessed what you did.

What will you do the next time a hurting friend calls during your favorite television show or you pass a homeless person asking for food on your way to some event? Why not welcome the interruption and seize the opportunity to help them

Make a point to slow down and look for these opportunities.  You never know, you may be the miracle they’ve been waiting for.

Naked Man Moleskin

Appreciate all the Men that joined me this morning!  Thanks to Pee Wee Herman for reaching out in advance to get the plan and offering to help with setup.  Much love to Gisele for leading the PAX in some Broga and making sure we all got that happy ending we earned to include that Dark Magic coffee.   It was a pleasure to meet some PAX I had not had the honor of posting with such as Nemo and Moist!

Lastly, its become abundantly clear I need to bring my readers with me for future Qs as it’s become much more difficult to read my COT notes.  Better yet, how about I just speak from the heart versus read from notes.  Hmmm.  There’s a novel idea.
