Introduction
I’m the midst of the brutal times of RDG the plan was already in motion for quarterly FiA/F3 coed Bootcamp! With my wonderful M Geico taking the Reindeer Reins, created a bootcamp to keep the men ane women moving about the AO. Our concept was based on sticking together.. since we have been together for 32 years.
Warm-O-Rama
I lead the WOR with some Imperial walkers, Phelps, calve stretches, motivators, should stretches…
The Thang
With 6 stations scattered around the AO each having a list of 4 exercises and a bucket with marking flags we all counted out and became part of teams that would compete for points based in the color of the flag in the bucket. We were to stick together with our teams and complete the exercises together and after completing the exercises, 1 flag was grabbed and all ran back to their assigned bucket by the flags.. The goal was to get the most points, so some flags were 40 points, the rest from 10-30. You could go to the bucket of your choice as much as you wanted, but the higher the points, the further and tougher the movements were. 40… Up on top of the mountain..
All exercises were common for F3 and FiA so real description wasn’t a time waster.
Circle of Trust
We both took a turn to express our COT, mine being to be mindful to those during this holiday season who struggle. Missing family members, those abroad including our soldiers, family, air children who have moved away. Be kind to others and open a door, let someone merge or pass on the road. You don’t know what they are going through.
GEICO’s was a deep thank you to FiA and what they have done for her and the good people we have met doing what we both enjoy so much. Also to think about those we have lost.
Naked Man Moleskin
Everyone had a great time, not too cold. We wrapped it up when mimosas, code, beers, fresh baked sour dough, donuts and muffins. And as promised Geico had a mini dance party.. there videos floating around somewhere..
