Introduction

I felt good this morning and arrived at 4:40am onsite after doing yoga, 20 pull-ups for the pull-up challenge and making coffee as well as LAFing.  Bunker was a little hung over after partaking in a few bourbons over the course of the afternoon and evening but he made it.

Circle of Trust

For my COT today, I wanted to start with this quote “Never be afraid to try something new, because life gets boring when you stay within the limits of what you already know.”

The old Foundation would worry and overthink things before making a decision.  The new Foundation that is continually striving to improve embraces the uncomfortable and trying new things.  Going after my trainer certification, going to play the piano at the open mic night in two weeks, doing Grow Ruck, Running the full Chicago marathon this fall, doing Ragnar, Qing twice a week.  I keep saying yes and I feel much more invigorated that the depressed, old Foundation who was always afraid of what may happen or what others may think or just afraid of change in general.

Life is short.  I went Wednesday night to a jam session with my girlfriend at her friends house where I played a few songs for these musicians kinda getting ready for open mic night on May 12th.  I was nervous but sat down at the baby grand piano there and played.  You know what.  I had a blast and even played along with some of the others while they were playing guitar and singing.  Never did anything like that before but thoroughly enjoyed myself.  I will overcome that next fear and play at the open mic night in front of the 50-75 people at the bar.  And then another challenge and another.  F yeah bitches!

I challenge you to think of something that you have thought about doing and have been afraid or unsure of maybe for a while.  Just do it.  It is an awesome feeling to overcome your fear and hell you may even like it.

Aye?  I must add though.  Make sure that it is not something that might get you incarcerated before saying yes to doing it.

F3 is not a religious organization but we will end in a prayer.  You’re welcome to join or take a minute to connect with your sky Q.  Are there an intentions we can acknowledge?

Naked Man Moleskin

Foundation had a few verbal slip ups during the intro but we made it.  It is the Mission Statement not the Missionary.
