Introduction
The calendar said it was the first day of Spring, the snow storm suggested otherwise.
Warm-O-Rama
SSH, mosey, imperial walkers, abe vigodas, arm circles
The Thang
Thang 1 – 7 minute EMOM (5 burpees and than as many thrusters until the minute was up). Repeat for 7 minutes.
Run – a little over a mile through the slushy streets.
Thang 2 – in the field – ladder progression that involved squats, crab walk, merkins, bear crawl, Sit-ups, Duck walk, burpees – run back to the start and repeat as many times as possible until the 8 minute timer went off.
Run – sling shot run around the AO until we got back to the hill
Thang 3 – 4 cones on all sides of the hill. Pax started with two merkins, then ran to the top of the hill. At the top, four merkins. From there PAX went down a different side of the hill. Each time they got to a cone, two merkins were added to the count, then back to the top until we got to 20 merkins.
Run – back to the flags for a short Mary.
Circle of Trust
COT focused on self-esteem and the importance of self-esteem to reach full potential. The following quote was shared.
“Its impossible to consistently behave in a manner inconsistent with how we see ourselves”.
Message – You have to believe in yourself if you want to get better.
Prayer took us out of the morning.
