The Thang
15 minutes – Thang – Sand Transfer on Baseball Field
1 Team, instructions are to transfer sand from home plate to center field. You cannot touch the bucket at home plate, you cannot use anything but your hands to move the sand and you cannot hold your hands together. The bucket weighs 66 pounds and our goal to get the bucket in center field to 25. Failure equals crab walking the entire field.
*What I did not explain and wasn’t asked was if they could move the blue bucket, they didn’t. And also what does 25 mean? Kilos, Pounds, Ounces, % of the 66lbs? We made it to 16.5lbs transfered and lost 50lbs of sand on the field running back and forth.
Thang 2 at the Playground
Hang from a pull-up bar for 6 minutes in total. If one PAX drops the entire group performs:
Round 1
– 1/4 mile run
– 30 air squats
Round 2
-10 burpees
Round 3
-Run to midline and back
We completed 4 minutes and went to the flags for Mary.
Hip exercises until a little after 0600 so we could cover both legs. Recover Recover
Circle of Trust
I spoke from the heart about not always believing one source of information or always aligning your beliefs to your own truth. Seek out multiple sources of information and come to a conclusion that is your own decision. It doesn’t matter what side you fall on or what you believe but it does matter if you never allowed another person/ side/ source to explain their view point.
Focus on listening to others and seeking out view points that do not align with what you typically will follow. This will make you well rounded from a knowledge standpoint, allow you to learn new things and allow you to explore a narrative you may have never been aware of. AYE!
Naked Man Moleskin
Urkel didn’t understand when I made ECR mandatory and he missed it. Completely joking…kind of but explained the TC standard that we EC here. It’s not extra credit, it’s an Expected Commitment Running Standard. The he was late. So there were many pentalty burpees spliced in for literally anything he said.
Leading this group of 5 kept me on my A game. Veterans, guys who don’t complain, put in the work and will give their full effort. Dear Abby has the SiteQ role down so well that it’s clear how well he had our 6 and we had to worry about nothing.
