Introduction

Bringing golf back to TR, this time from the top of the hill.

Warm-O-Rama

“Hit” drill during 5 Core Principals, good mornings, trunk rotations, Michael Phelps, calf stretch.

The Thang

Using LED Balls, PAX start on the top of the hill and hit balls (with P Wedge or 9 iron) toward the bridge. 4 different posts are set up in a straight line starting at base of hill, then every 25 yards. PAX partner up before heading to the hill.
Each “round”, a pair of PAX each hit a ball toward the posts, as far and straight as possible (all other PAX hold plank while waiting for both PAX to hit). All PAX then run down the hill to the nearest ball, line up parallel to the posts, BEAR CRAWL to the posts and perform the indicated exercise led by the PAX who hit the ball (see below). After finishing the first exercise, all PAX then mosey to the next ball and perform the indicated exercise before returning to the top of the hill for the next round. Repeat this process until Mary.
Exercises:
  • If the ball is short of the first post, perform 10 BURPEES (on my down).
  • If the ball is between the first and second posts, perform 15 MERKINS (on my down).
  • If the ball is between the second and third posts, perform 20 SQUATS (on my down).
  • If the ball is between the third and fourth posts, perform 25 GRADY CORNS (in cadence).
  • If the ball is beyond the fourth post, no exercise is needed after the BEAR CRAWL.

Circle of Trust

Especially during RDG we need to be aware of how our priorities are aligned. Saying “no” the EC in order to spend more time at night with your M or 2.0’s is worth a ton of points, even if they don’t count toward your team’s RDG totals.

Naked Man Moleskin

Blue Gill finally found something at which he can improve.
