Introduction

I decided to Q up a Dora with 900 reps for my 900th post.  Over half the group did a 1.5-mile EC run before the beatdown.

Warm-O-Rama

Jog in place for the introduction and disclaimer.

High knees for the F3 mission, core principles, and credo.

Warm-up exercises: Good mornings, extended world’s greatest stretch, WMH with arm extensions.

The Thang

Dora 900.  Partner up, and one partner does the noted exercises while the other partner runs about 25 yards to a cone and does 3 burpees, and then runs back to switch with their partner.  The exercises were 200 curls, 175 air squats, 150 OHP, 125 coupon swings, 100 merkins, 75 thrusters, 50 bonnie blairs, and 25 blockees.

8 minutes of Mary: Plank toe touch, crab toe touch, hold-crunch hamstring pulls, hold-crunch knee pulls, hold-crunch pigeon pulls, slow big boys, rowers, and American Freddies.

Circle of Trust

Very bittersweet taking my daughter on her first college visit at Iowa this past weekend.  It’s really starting to hit hard that she’s grown up and will be out of the house soon.  I’ve known it is coming, but something about doing the college visit made it seem more real and imminent.  Lots of memories have been flooding my head lately.  I’m proud of her and am looking forward to creating more memories with her…just sort of sad that my little girl will be going away and I won’t be seeing her every day.
