Introduction

It’s been awhile since I have been at this AO.  Often times the easiest way for me to ensure I will visit a particular AO is to sign-up to Q.  Admittedly I have been trying to Q less so it doesn’t become some thing that is taken for granted.  What I like about this AO is that there is a regular somewhat predictable crowd that I enjoy seeing.  With all of us doing miles for the sandlot challenge I wanted to get some but I also wanted to hit the hill,  I honestly avoid hill workouts so I created one instead.

Warm-O-Rama

After getting a count and checking in, we started with a mosey to the thang 3 tabata route.  Did some basic stuff to warm-up.  In the parking lot I pointed out where thang 2 would be but he hit the hill for thang 1.

The Thang

Thang 1- 7s on the hill.  Burpees on the top and Squats on the bottom.  We all got it done.  I hate the hill,  I was last.  But whatever.  It’s good for my legs.  I don’t do TKD anymore and need to get this in.

Thang2-  back in the lot.  above the amphitheater.

Sets of 25 followed by a short sprint of about 50 yards out and back.

Big Boys- 1 set

Hell taps IC-2 sets

Pickle Pushers IC- 2 sets

Thang 3 back at base with coupons.  pair up.  1 dude lifts and the other runs up and back the parking lot hill.

Chest Press, OHP, Curls.  Change exercises after your run.  We all got 2 sets.

A couple of different times we did my pearls staple.  Grady Corns and Moroccan night clubs.  These add up for a nice shoulder burn but they don’t kill my shoulder which has had an impingement.

Circle of Trust

Summer is coming to a close for me and I have been consuming some books and other media.  Many have a lesson or purpose.  Sometimes there are multiple.  I encouraged people to look beyond the obvious lesson and look to the secondary lessons.  Often those can be the more personal ones.

Naked Man Moleskin

Love the dudes at da grizz.  need to do this one more often.  It’s easy to get to work from here.
