Circle of Trust
I reflected on my past weekend where I went down to Indiana University with 20 of my fraternity pledge brother to have a little memorial for a pledge brother passing late last year from a heart attack at the age of 46. My buddy was struggling with some addictions and depression, but hid it from all of us. He became really unhealthy towards the end and gained a ton a weight. We all talked over the weekend how if we would have been more involved we might have seen some of the signs of his issues and helped out but we did not know. He also lived in Cali so a lot of us were not living close to him to see what was really going on. My main message today was to reach out to someone you have not talked to in a while that you may think might be struggling and you never know what a friendly call or a reached out hand might do. Its tough to see a good guy go so young and I will make it a priority to reach out to some if I feel they can use some help. Aye!
