Circle of Trust

According to a survey from the Cleveland Clinic:

  • 72% of men would rather do household chores than go to the doctor
  • 77% of men would rather go shopping with their wife or significant other than go to the doctor
  • Two thirds wait as long as possible to see a doctor when they have symptoms
  • Of those that do go, 20% aren’t honest with their doctor
  • Early diagnosis and treatment can be the difference between life and death or recovery or not – cancer, heart failure, kidney failure, bacterial infection, vascular disease, lyme disease – ask the PAX for other ideas
  • Remember that those that we love rely on us, probably for more than we know.
  • Staying active and putting the 1st F time in is great, and undoubtedly helps, but you also need to go see your doctor.

Is your next physical scheduled?

Naked Man Moleskin

Thanks to all the PAX who came out this morning and pushed themselves.  I know the Indian Run was tough for many, and I hope it helped us all get better.  I enjoyed leading the group through the countdown exercises.  Special thanks to Vern for having my 6 (he’s still got it!) and 5-Putt for bailing me out when my phone wouldn’t connect to the speaker.  This beatdown was much better with music!
