Introduction

I am always a little nervous with a workout that is light on the running.  Is the effort level going to be sufficient for the PAX?  I dont want to leave them with a bunch of gas left in the tank.  But it turned out to be good enough.

I was planning to do all the workouts in the grass, but it was kind of dewy.  It would have been fine, but nice to be on the dry lot too. The lot is worse on my backside than the grass is all.

Warm-O-Rama

Back stretch, worlds greatest, cobra, downward dog, daisy picker, quad.

Burpees for one minute.  AMRAP – OYO

PeeBurrs on my up. (same as a burpee, but start on the ground)

The Thang

Circle Run Around 523-530

BB / coupon pass over, coupon swings (rope arms).
LBC, BB, Fox holes (BB and Merkins), Heal taps

note, we were supposed to run around the circle between exercises, but I forgot that.  I’ll try to do that next time.

 

Line dancing. (country music)  South of Library -537

12 (High Plank, LowPlank) //  roll R/L to 6 (lbc,BB, heeltaps) //  getup (repeat)

  • I played some country line dancing music durring this.  I thought it ended up being lame and easy, but AAR from pax was that they liked it.
  • Next time, consider creating an easy 4 wall workout that could be done to the music.

Getups, burpees, getup with coupon, blockies.

  • a lot of complaints on the getup with coupon.  I probably should have done a better job demonstrating how to do that comfortably.

Circle of Trust

Blue Gill said “No matter how many burpees you do, no matter how tired you are, you can always get up.”

I think this is true.  And maybe true for life also.  No matter how bad you failed, how tired you are, you can always get up.
