Circle of Trust

After our last hockey game our captain told us he would not be running the team next season.  He has done it for 10 years.   He is moving on to other priorities that call for his leadership.  It is not easy leading a bunch of guys that, at times, don’t pay, don’t show up, and take it for granted.  I missed an opportunity to take 30 seconds in the locker room to recognize him and show my appreciation for his leadership. I followed up with a post in the team group.   Maybe it will inspire someone to take the lead.  Maybe it will inspire me.  Leadership is needed in all aspects of life whether it is family, work, or play.  Recognize the leadership you see and hopefully watch it grow.
