Introduction

Da Grizz is one of those Unique AO’s.  I really like trying to explore new ways to use an AO.  Prior to this Q  site Q Duckhunt challenged me to do something different than what had been the recent norm.  Many recent Q during RDG had done work at the pavilian and then run up the hill and back.  SO i wanted to gamefy it.

Warm-O-Rama

I had them plant flags on the upper lot.  It was here we did a basic WOR.  After that we grabbed our coupons and mosied to the path line.

The Thang

For the thang we made two teams.  One team would do sets of coupon exercises at home base while the other went out with the flag to defend it.  The defenders had to set the flag and then do big boys and pickle pushers.  When an attacker crossed the marked line the defenders could try to tag them.  Hunters would go out one at a time and try to get the flag dropping it where they got caught.

After some quick on the fly AAR round two began and the game evolved.  Now the defenders can’t defend unless an attacker was holding the flag and the hunters would send out a new hunter each time they cycled through the exercises.

Exercises with the coupon were Curl, Deadlifts, Squats, OHP.

Circle of Trust

For my COT i talked about my desire to plan a unique Q using the features of this AO.  I highlighted how RDG encourages travel to many AO and I encouraged some of the PAX to branch out more.

Naked Man Moleskin

With AAR in mind I ran this one back at the wood.  There were some new challenges there, most notably how the space in Da Grizz was dark and the wood was lit.
