Introduction
A weird morning weather wise. We had the possibility of some rain and some lightening in the distance. Luckily for us everything moved North and we were able to stick to the original plan.

The Thang
It was a team Dora in the field. We had 7 rounds of exercises and movements to complete with our team and then we either picked up the 6 or did coupon work until all teams finished the round. We started and ended each round together.
Each team had a pax start the movements, a pax doing coupon work, and then a chaser who was trying to catch the pax doing the movement to trade places and continue the movement. The movement pax then ran back to trade places with the coupon pax until we covered the distance each round. The distance covered was 200 yards( 100 yards down and 100 yards back). Each round the chaser started with 5 burpees to give the movement pax a head start before chasing them down.
Round 1 was Curls and Farmer carry
Round 2 was Over Head Press and Murder Bunnies
Round 3 was Skull Crushers and Rifle Carry
Round 4 was Chest press and bear crawls
Round 5 was Merkins and lunge walk
Round 6 was Burpees and Broad Jump
Round 7 was Coupon Squats and Duck Walk

My family growing up really did not do much in terms of celebrating birthdays so I jokingly have always said that it is just another day because in reality that was exactly what it was. Most years it was ironically on the first day of school or at least the first week when I was growing up which as a kid signaled the end of summer break. I have never really ever asked for anything and have always preferred to just be in the company of friends. As a father I have made it a point to celebrate everyone of my kids birthdays. I put together a slide show each year for each kid that is personalized for them. I collect photos from all family members to highlight everything that has happened over the last year. Vacations, sports, school events, even just random pictures from around the house always make it in there and it has become our little tradition. My kids get excited and pick out the music that they want and then I take it from there. The entire family gathers in the family room during the party to watch the 10-15 minute collaboration of the birthday kid. All the cousins and family friends kids sit in aw about how much each one of my kids is celebrated. My god son asked me last year if I could make a video for him because he enjoys watching my kids video every year and wanted one just for him. The cousins have even started fighting and counting how many times they appear in the video! Bottom line is now as a father I realize how important it was to celebrate the little things. Birthdays are more than just gifts, and while I say it is just another day, it is a day to celebrate you as a person. I look back each year and evaluate where I am in life and where I want to go. I have come a long way as a sad clown who was looking for something to be a part of as we were coming out of the Covid area, and F3 was my gift in disguise. It has by far been the best gift that has ever been given to me, and it is one that I want to continue to give away each and everyday. This was my third birthday Q while a part of F3 and my goals have changed each year after I have been on Q. I have a new direction that I am working towards now and in my mind my birthday is more about a reset or re-evaluation of where I am as a person then adding another candle to the cake.

Appreciate the 20 men that showed up today and put in some work. Old Maid decided to poke the bear on slack last night so I made sure to partner him up with Chum Bucket and Sparkler so he was able to try some hard things this morning. The work rate was high and when it was not we took the time to remind ourselves that we do not get up for easy with some penalty burpees. Appreciate the call out from Dilly Dilly during prayer and the lovely gift that there is no evidence of that Foundation presented to me during coffeteria with Mr. Drippy on Q.
