Circle of Trust

I was brought into F3 by Second Best as I was EH’d while drinking beers on my driveway in the mist of COVID. While he thinks he did a great job in recruiting me into F3 it may have been the doubt of my M that I would actually get up early and drive to a place to workout outside. When she laughed and said yea right he will not do it, that voice in my head said “Challenge Accepted” and I have never looked back.

There has been a lot that I have experienced due to this group of men. I have built relationships with people I would have never met without being a part of this group. I have found something in myself that I never knew was there and honestly without being a part of F3 there is no way I would have overcome some of these events. When I shattered my leg I was devastated, I really had no clue what the hell I would do let alone how the hell I would recover from that injury. These men showed me just what it meant to be part of something bigger than yourself. The willingness to help one another in this group is something I have never experience in my adulthood. The fact that a group of men showed up every week to have coffee on my driveway in the cold just to keep me connected is something I will never forget. The way we bonded together as we trained for Grow Ruck and the relationships that were built or strengthened as we completed that event is something I never would have dreamed of doing 2 years ago. This group has given me so much over the last two years and taught me that I can do so much more than I once thought I was capable of. I have become a better husband, father, and leader and owe that to each and everyone of you. I am grateful to have the opportunity to be part of the shared leadership team and look forward to many more years of kicking ass each day with you all in the gloom. I can say each morning that I am a better man today than I was yesterday and I will be a better man tomorrow than I was today.

Naked Man Moleskin

Thanks to Doc Brown for having my 6 and for the 19 PAX that came out to celebrate my 2 year manniversary. Since my speaker died for the first time on me the PAX made sure to let me know how much better it would have been with music. Instead we enjoyed the sweet soothing sounds of men grunting in the gloom as we embraced the suck.
