Naked Man Moleskin

F3 is always present.  Over the past 4 weeks a new job opportunity presented itself to me with the company I am working for.  I wrestled with the decision for a good few weeks struggling to decide.  It was a great opportunity but a bit of a lifestyle change having to go to the office a couple days a week & is a national based role vs. just a couple states.  Then F3 showed up when I needed it.

Just the other week I was asked to speak at our 5 Year anniversary so I wrote out some things I wanted to say.  It started with how F3 Plainfield started & it was a simple question that one of the leaders from F3 Naperville asked me when we were struggling on to split or not from Naperville.  He asked, “If not now, then when”.  I continued my speech & when I got to the end I closed with challenging everyone in that room, if there is something on your heart you have been afraid to do or feel inadequate, I urge you to stop & ask yourself, “If not now, then when?”.  It was in that moment that I knew I was talking to myself as well & once again F3 had showed up to help me be a better leader, to realize it does not matter if I don’t have the answers or don’t feel ready just like we did not feel ready 5 years ago.  Sometimes you have to trust yourself & make a leap of faith.  That following Tuesday last week I accepted the new role at my job.  So, I ask, challenge, all of you with the same thing.  “If not now, then when”.  Aye!
