I thought it would be a good idea to use Grok AI to help me find rarely used and very difficult coupon exercises.

It was not.

We started in the small field by the flags.  I had cones set up to indicate our starting point and turnaround points for:

  • One round of Merkin Bunnies.  Just like a murder bunny but add a merkin each time you move the coupon forward and before you bunny hop.
  • One round of Groiner Bunnies. Just like a murder bunny but add three groiners each time you move the coupon forward and before you bunny hop.

Circle of Trust

I recently finished the book Comfort Crisis by Michael Easter.

It’s a very interesting analysis about how technology has essentially created a way of life that is very different for our minds and bodies than our way of life has been at any other time in history

  • How we got food: We used to have to hunt & gather, often expending more calories to get food than the food gave us – now food is delivered to our homes
  • Where we work: We used to work outside, now we work in offices (many of us)
  • What we are exposed to: We used to be exposed to viruses, bacteria and microorganisms constantly – now we sanitize them away

The changes in our way of life are happening at a much faster pace than our species can adapt to those changes

I don’t know if that’s causal, but the fact is that in our country, life expectancy is now dropping – a stunning change after decades or centuries of life expectancy increases

The author suggests several things – nature as a cure (get outside), embrace discomfort (like hunger, physical exertion or solitude), and the value of boredom, which allows the brain to decompress and generate new ideas – to help keep us closer to the way we evolved

F3 helps us with many of these things!

Great book, highly recommended

Naked Man Moleskin

This was every bit the smoke show I hoped it would be, and more.  Great push by all PAX!
