Introduction
Perfect clear 50° morning in the gloom. A bunch of PAX were out running an EC4 at approximately 4:30 AM. We had one PAX pull his HC but backfilled with a down range PAX “peaches“ and a late HC from west side story and invitro.

The Thang
This workout consists of three main components a mechanism for nonstop movement. The packs were broken into two groups approximately eight packs per group.
The Porkchop Express:
- one PAX in the group self elects to take a tire sled, load his coupon into the sled and drag the sled down to the cone and back.
Egg Shen’s 6 Demon Bag (bent over rows, big boys, overhead press, American hammers, skull crushers, dips):
- while the sled is out for a jog all other PAX work together performing one movement AMRAP until the sled comes back.
- there are 6 movements “demons” in Egg Shen’s bag. Every time the sled goes out PAX move on to o the next movement AMRAP. Start back at the top of the list once all 6 have been rotated through.
Lord’s of Death:
- because the pax dragging the sled didn’t get his reps in he will do his reps of whatever movement the group just did OYO.
- the group will run together twice as far as the sled cone/marker, do 10 merkins, and then head back.
- once the “Lord’s of Death” come back a new PAX self elects to take the tire out and the group moves to the next Demon in the bag (on the list)

Circle of Trust
At the end of the week, I will hit 80 Q’s In two years of F3. It is a pleasure and a privilege to have the opportunity to lead men in these workouts. Every time I step Up to lead I learn something new about myself, I get tested, I get feedback, I get better, and I grow.
I believe that when you Q, you should Q the thing you hate to do. If you hate bear crawls, you should probably do more bear crawls. If you hate working out your core you should Q a bunch of ab workouts.
Whatever it is that you are avoiding is probably the thing you need to do to grow and reach the next level. I’m ok not being the 12 at my own workout.
As Mike Tyson said, “do the thing you hate to do, but do it like you love it“.
