Introduction
It’s been a minute since we had a sandbag focused beatdown. Easiest way to fix that is to Q one. So I wrote my pre-blast and loaded up my trunk with sandbags
Warm-O-Rama
Got the disclimer, credo, and misson statement wrapped while shffling our feet.
Loosening up our shoulders with some arm circles and michael phelps. Getting our core limber with some Imperial walkers and piano man got us ready to jump right into the fun.
The Thang
Thang 1 – Sandbag Complex – sets of 10 deadlift to cleans to squats to OHP. No stopping inbetween. Then repeat at a faster pace. Breaking down the individual movements for properly lifting a sandbag from the ground to overhead.
Thang 2 – One PAX tossing a sandbag either forward or backward overhead down the parking lot while their parner did a bodyweight exercise. Three tosses then run and switch. We made it down and back twice. (with 60lb sandbags). Exercises were Burpees-Squats-Lunges-Back Lunges-Mike Tyson Pushups-Peter Parker Merkins-SSH-Big Boys-repeat from top
