Introduction
Chilly and moist morning, yet surprisingly no wind to speak of at this one of the Windiest AOs! A could of EC runners came trotting back to the flags to get this what I hoped to be a burner after taking off 2 days to recover from Lincoln Games.
Warm-O-Rama
Got us some Phelps , Tai Fighters, Imperial Walkers, calve stretches, motivators from 5.
The Thang
Utilized the lot and each parking spot with the first round being Cocaine Bears across 8 parking spots to first island, jumping up and running around to the second island and back to where you left off at the island and returns to start by same mode of transport ( Cocaine Bears). Once back we Lunge walked the same way to the island, ran around and back and continued to the start.
Next was Thrusters at every spot to the island, set down coupon and run around and back to use that MOT back to start where we repeated that path with Blockees, and after that rotation did Curls arms BOTH ISLANDS and back to start.
From there we moseyed to the pavilion for some bench work.. Dips -30, Urkins- 25, Step Ups – 30, repeat, with 25, 20, 25..
Run together around the while lot retiring to the start, where we jumped back into the CBC’s, skipped the Lunge walks, and got Thrusters..
As time approached the 6 minute mark, I directed the PAX to find a dryer spot on get on the 6. Where we got some LBCs, Big Boys, American Hammers, with reps of 25, 15, 15. switched up to WW1s, Freddie’s, and some more Lbcs.. This bleed into MARY where we finished the AM with 3 rounds of Merkin Ring of fire!
Recover,recover
Circle of Trust
My message here was to do what I normally don’t do.. LISTEN TO YOUR BODY. After wrapping up my second F3 Naperville Lincoln Games and two days of heavy landscaping at the house, I paid the price come Saturday afternoon. I realized at that point that the 9pm beer ruck was not going to be a possibility and choose to shut myself down and take a few days off from physical activity. It really did help.Bouncing back this morning with a burner really hit the spot.
I spoke a prayer to our F3 Nation, our troops home and abroad, and it local F3/FiA Bros and sistas!
Naked Man Moleskin
Thanks for coming out to share the morning men! To be honest, I was excited to see an HC from Sparkler because I know his work ethic and the energy he has. ( I hope he didn’t HC for a recovery BC??) I tossed and turned this morning hoping this would be a burner worthy of his approval! Also had the hopes it would kick the rest of our asses! Based on the AAR, the movements, reps, and timing appeared to be right on.
