Workout buy-in
EMOM – start with 5 burpees, then do as many thrusters as you can. Goal was to get to 100, or as many thrusters a possible before time ran out. After the last buzzer, we did a quick accountability check to see how many thrusters pax got done.
The second part of the workout involved a tabata style workout with 90 second sets, followed by 15 seconds rest. Each round we did three exercises (upper body, lower body, core), followed by a lap around the lot. On the last round, we made the lap around the lot extended, and made it an indian run.
The group completed three rounds before we completed a short mary.
Circle of Trust
The COT message focused on goal setting. I shared a goal that I set last year in my professional role, and a recognition from my peers very recently that affirmed what I set as a focus last year. Completing the goal was incredibly affirming, but seeing my peers recognize the impact of that goal was even more affirming. The challenge to the group was to set a goal, and actually work toward it.
Naked Man Moleskin
