The Thang

Two thangs

Thang 1 – Three cones spaced  30 feet apart

Coupons with you at the first cone.  Do the exercises then bear crawl to the first cone and then lunge walk to the last cone and run back and do the other set of exercises.  Rinse and repeat.

Exercises – 15 curls and 15 dips , 15 overhead presses and 15 bent over rows

Thang 2 X

One cone in the middle and then the other four on the corners using half the lot.  You always go to the center and do 5 merkins and 10 monkey crunches and then run back out to the next station rotating clockwise.

Corner stations – 50 jump rope, 20 mountain climbers (10 w each leg), 3 burpees, 20 toe taps on coupon (10 with each foot)

Circle of Trust

For my COT, I want to start with this quote “The best things in life don’t come easy, but those things are the ones worth the sacrifice.”

We all have a choice every day.  Do we stay where we are or improve.  This is in the area of fitness, self growth, relationships with M’s and 2.0s or any area of your life.

One thing that I fought with for my whole life was self confidence.  This kept me from taking big chances.  Staying in a bad relationships or staying in jobs I hated.  I would stay in the crappy situation because I at least knew that there weren’t going to be surprises.  I guess in my mind it was safe or something.  Let me tell you.  The feeling from living with regret far outweighs the chances that I missed out on taking over the first half of my life.  The new me.  Foundation.  The badass motherfucker in front of you.  He now chooses to accelerate in all areas of his life, go after dreams, take some chances.  I feel more alive now then I ever have and want to keep accelerating in all areas.  Some days the self doubts creep in.  Afm I good enough to pull off this business?  And other shit like that.  But know I can recognize when those bad thoughts creep in and can pull myself out of it before I derail and head into the ditch of depression.

I want you to think about what you are doing to accelerate in all areas of your life.  If something doesn’t pop into your head immediately then my challenge to you is to think of one thing that you will do to accelerate your life.  IT can be in your fitness.  Set a goal.  Run a mile in 10 minutes or post four days a week for example.  Or that you will accelerate in your relationship with your M.  Maybe, finding 5 minutes a day to talk to your M not about what the kids are doing but simply how she is doing and maybe what was her strongest feeling that she experienced today and then get her to try to describe it to you so you can experience it too.    We all have a choice and I hope that you choose to not settle into the easy mundane path but rather into the path to acceleration.
