Introduction
This summers run clubs have had a heavy focus on interval training. It’s time to test that speed and Vo2 Max capacity with a 5k time trial.

The Thang
After WoR, we moseyed to the track and met at the start line marked by two cones. Everyone started together with the goal of PR-ING their 5k. Final instructions were given, watches set and we were off. The finish was marked by to other flashing cones 100m from the start line. After completion of the 5k, we cooled down via mosey, gathered the cones, and met back at the flags for broga.
Broga-flow consisted of down dogs, low lunge right and left, half split kneeling right and left, calf peddles, and daisy pickers.
Circle of Trust
Listen to your body and rest or modify when needed. Overuse can cause injury that can lead to long term time away. Chose a variety of different work outs to avoid over training. Sometimes MASHING is what the day calls for. Remember, this is a long game.
Naked Man Moleskin
Better awareness of an upcoming 5k race over the weekend. This may have improved numbers. Also, it does seem like Garmin is more accurate than Apple. Overall, great effort by everyone.
