Introduction
It was a chilly 30 degree morning as I headed out early & decided to run to the AO vs. drive. Did a dry run of 1 round of the beatdown on the hill to check my timing then joined a couple other men for an EC run. Lot’s of mummble chatter on the draft tonight but solid fellowship overall.

- 21’s – SSH with first 4 out loud IC then silent for next 17 having to finish at the same time
- Pretty good but not perfect so 3 penalty burpees ensued

The Thang
Thang 1: Time is a Thief
- You will complete the following rotation for time with each round progressively getting less time to complete.
- 15 Merkins Bottom of the hill
- 15 jump squats top of hill
- 15 Big Boys bottom of hill other side
- 1 burpee at top of hill going back
- Finish run to the path
- This is the time hack for each round.
- Round 1 – 4:00
- Round 2 – 3:45
- Round 3 – 3:30
- Round 4 – 3:15
- Round 5 – 3:00
- Round 6 – 2:50
- Round 7 – 2:40
- Round 8 – 2:30
- Round 9 – 2:20
- Round 10 – 2:10
- Round 11 – 2:00
- Recover at your own leisure but remember each round gets harder & shorter

About 4 weeks ago the family was on vacation in Florida & my wife & I were enjoying a nice sunset when she said, “do you realize that we only have maybe 6 of these spring breaks left as the family all together”. Since that moment it has stuck with me & even before that my time on this earthly world is more in the past than what is left in the future. These are some milestones that will happen for me in the next year surrounded around my Concentrica:
- I will celebrate 25 years in the same profession, beverage sales.
- My daughter will become a teenager & my twin boys will turn double digits at 10 years old.
- My wife & I will celebrate our 20th
- Just a few short months I will celebrate my 5th anniversary of this life changing thing we call F3.
- The thing I think about the most though is that I will turn 47 in 365 days the same age my dad was when he passed away. It constantly has me reflecting on the things he was doing in his last year not knowing it was his last year & it has me laser focused on the now. For those that were at my Q last week living in the “Present”.
I know we say it a lot & for some maybe it goes in 1 ear & out the other but Men I am urging you to take some time & take stock in where you are spending your time, who are you focused on impacting, & ultimately what you can do more & be more intentional about. None of us our guaranteed to see this sunrise tomorrow but you are guaranteed what you decide to do when you go home today after this sunrise. Make the most of it. Aye!
