Circle of Trust
- I came across a quote recently: “Fathers fight dragons almost daily. They hurry away from the breakfast table, off to the arena which is sometimes called an office or workshop. They tackle the obstacles that stand in their way…..schedules, hard work, and occasionally the boss. They never quite win the fight but they never give up”. -Author Unknown
- This isn’t specific to fathers, I think it applies to MEN in general
- What I hear in this quote is that life is a grind for men. We’re not always doing what we want to do, we’re doing what we need to do.
- And we usually need to do it for others – family members, children.
- If you feel like you’re caught in the grind, remember why you grind – your reason is probably a good one and worth it, even if it doesn’t always feel that way.
Naked Man Moleskin
The rain and wind came on strong just before 5:15. Thanks to everyone for braving the conditions this morning. Thanks to Cinderella for arranging a man down drill and for all the PAX who participated and learned from it. We are now more prepared for an emergency in the gloom, should it ever occur.
